Green Ridges has been established since 1991 and in that time has built an enviable reputation for the quality of service provided. We don't claim to offer the cheapest rates in town, but we do pride ourselves on offering the best value for money, especially in an age when pursuit of a quick profit seems to be everything. Whether you are looking for a single night, a weekend, a short break, or a longer stay (typically for our business clients), I firmly believe you will find our accommodation second to none.

Green Ridges has recently undergone some significant changes of late. Green Ridges goes green! In an effort to help save the environment, we now have solar water heating, energy saving UPVC windows and doors, energy saving light bulbs and we recycle more waste than ever. New from 2006, there are two purpose-built rooms on the ground floor overlooking the pretty back garden, especially suited for disabled guests.

 

Dining Room

Pictured below is the guests' dining room, tastefully furnished with the antiques and mementos I have been collecting for over 30 years. Look out over the pretty front garden whilst enjoying a relaxing start to your day and you could be a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

A traditional full English breakfast is cooked to your preference from our breakfast menu, using fresh home grown and local organic produce and served at individual tables. Vegetarians will be pleased to find they will be well catered for.

Or if you would prefer, at a lower rate we can offer continental breakfast of orange juice, cereal and toast which you can prepare yourself in your room, which is ideal for early risers. Each room has a toaster, fridge and kettle. Please ask in advance and we will be happy to tailor our menu to your individual requirements.
